My Financial Horoscopes
My Horoscopes for You on October 9, 2008
Aries - Hang in there and don’t panic. The worst time to sell is when you are panicking.
Taurus - Your money is safe in U.S. banks. If it’s not, you have a lot more to worry about than your money.
Gemini - Reduce your unnecessary expenses now.
Cancer - Don’t bet on a quick turnaround.
Leo - Do not pay off credit card balances in this market. It seems harsh to say this but you have the banks where you want them. Cash is king in this market. Pay your minimum payments.
Virgo - Most assets will be de-valued in this marketplace. Remember this when selling.
Libra - The market pundits on TV sell television programs. They don’t give very good market advice.
Scorpio - Bottom Fishing is for Suckers. Think Long Term if you’re buying stocks in this market.
Sagittarius - These markets may become oversold but they may remain oversold for a long period of time. Remember this if you’re bottom fishing with a quick hit mentality.
Capricorn - If you are to buy stocks in this market, just buy 25% of what you want to buy. With that advice, only buy companies with little or no short term debt and large cash positions.
Aquarius - Every generation goes through financial turmoil. This is ours.
Pisces - Prayer works.
Petscopes
This blog is owned by 1800blogger and as many of you already know, we don’t endorse websites or blogs. Once in awhile, we find something so damn fun that we bring it to your attention.
Hipscopes is a fun site and they made themselves even better with their weekly petscopes. As a proud owner of 2 cats and a dog, I look to prepare myself for my pets week by reading their horoscope.
So Hipscopes, this touts for you. Well done.
Do horoscopes influence gambing?
There are many things that horoscopes are useful for - dating, Feng shui, a positive outlook on your day. And there are many that believe that properly calculated horoscopes can help determine a lifemate, pick a job, or beat the odds in Vegas.
Whether that is all or in part true is hard to say as many can correlate a positive outcome to a positive horoscope. Or even the converse. And then there are those that completely discount any influence that horoscopes can provide.
One such case is John Robison who relpies to a reader wondering if horoscopes can help with their gambling. His response can be summed up with this
I like to believe that those who follow horoscopes know that while they may be accurate in a general sense, that gambing is a game of chance. Even if a horoscope could influence the outcome, common sense notes that given time the odds always fall against the player. I view those following horoscopes as having that common sense. It seems that John Robison does not hold that view.
